Functions Part 1

Functions are a core part of AA exams and make up a majority of the questions that will be asked during an exam, making them one of the most important topics for you to have an understanding of. This video goes through a past exam question and the knowledge you will need to use in order to score full marks, with more coming in the future.

In this video, we cover a 6 mark Paper One question, with a focus on the range of a function and the discriminant of composite functions. Functions are one of the biggest and most challenging topics for IB students, so it's very important to have a strong understanding from the beginning of the course.
